Avera Benefit Solutions

Avera Benefit Solutions provides groups of 10 or more benefit eligible employees with the flexibility to choose the benefits most important to you and to put together a package that fits your company’s needs.  For groups under 10 benefit eligible employees, we offer 14 plan designs to choose from to build a health plan around your business needs. 

 

Avera Benefit Solutions (2-9 benefit eligible Employees)

Traditionally packaged plans offer varying deductibles, copays and out-of-pocket maximums. COBRA administration and Employee Assistance Plan are included with each of the plan designs.

 

Avera Benefit Solutions (10 or more benefit eligible Employees)

A quoting model has been designed to provide employers the flexibility to choose benefits that are affordable and essential to the group. These plans allow you to select between the following options:

  • Deductibles
  • Coinsurance
  • Out-of-pocket Maximums
  • Physician Office Visit (deductible vs. copay)
  • Physician Office Visit Copay: Primary Care/Specialist
  • Wellness Office Visit (deductible vs. copay)
  • Chiropractic Office Visit (deductible vs. copay)
  • Pharmacy Plan Variations
  • Emergency Room Coverage (deductible, copay, access fee)

The following riders are also available:

  • Family Planning Coverage
  • Student Age Variation
  • Vision
  • Employee Assistance Program (EAP)

COBRA Administration is included in the price of the package.

 

Other Products and Services

The following products are available as an enhancement to the selected plan design:

  • Dental Insurance
  • Life Insurance
  • Disability Insurance
  • Flexible Spending Accounts (Section 125)

 

Health Savings Accounts - High Deductible Health Plans

Another product that is available is the High Deductible Health Plan with a Health Savings Account (HSA).  AHP offers the Avera HSA. The following are some highlights of this product for employers:
