Together for Kids was created to improve the health of children by serving as a catalyst for fundraising to support pediatric research, clinical care, medical education, family services and advocacy.
Avera Children’s Hospital & Clinics and Together for Kids are making a difference in the lives of children and families:
Avera Children’s Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit features advanced technology like Giraffe OmniBeds and Avera CareView.
The Walsh Family Village, located on the Avera McKennan campus, provides a “home away from home” for patients and families who cannot afford lodging expenses.
Avera Children’s Hospital & Clinics is currently developing an obesity clinic for children in cooperation with a research study.
Avera, the regional leader in behavioral health services, created the Avera Institute for Human Behavioral Genetics to help children avoid lifelong difficulty with behavioral health disorders.
The Avera Health Care Clinic offers free primary health care services to families who are uninsured or underinsured.
