Avera Health Plans is extending open enrollment to individuals and families starting Feb. 15, 2021, through May 15, 2021. This extended enrollment period is in accordance with new guidance from the Biden Administration. It was determined that the COVID-19 emergency is an exceptional circumstance and you should be able to apply and enroll for the coverage you need.
Policy effective dates are March 1, 2021, through June 1, 2021. This extended open enrollment is for new applications as well as for updating existing applications.
