What Qualifies for Special Enrollment?
Several life events may qualify for you for a Special Enrollment Period, including:
- Getting married
- Turning 26 years old
- Having a baby, adopting a child or placing a child for foster care
- Moving your household
- Divorce or legal separation
- Death
- Loss of coverage

What to Report & When
If you purchased your plan on the Marketplace, you must report the changes to the Marketplace within 60 days of a qualifying life event. Then, you'll get a new eligibility notice that explains if you're eligible for a Special Enrollment Period and lower costs. Learn more about:
