If you live in South Dakota, you can get the individual or family health insurance plan that fits your budget and coverage needs when you choose Avera Health Plans.

The next open enrollment period is Nov. 1 through Dec. 15.

Outside of open enrollment, you'll be able to apply for new health insurance coverage or update your current coverage after you experience a qualifying life event. You can qualify for tax credits or reduce health care costs if you meet the requirements of a qualifying life-event.

Catastrophic Plan

To qualify for this plan you must be under the age of 30 before Jan. 1 or qualify for a federal hardship exemption.
