Member and Employer Portal Transition

Avera, Avera Health Plans and partners transitioned to a new electronic medical record system in May 2026.

  • May 12: A new employer portal called Employer Link launched to centralize enrollment, billing, eligibility, claims and employee information. Most employers have already signed up, but some may remain.
  • May 30: We launched the new member portal, Avera MyChart, for Avera Health Plans members and Avera patients. MyChart gives members one secure place to view health information and health insurance member benefits together. Patients and members need to take action to create new accounts.
