How to Find Your Prescription ID Information

Your prescription ID is available on your digital member ID in the portal.

  1. Log in to Avera MyChart.
  2. Under the Insurance section, select Insurance ID Card.

Your insurance ID information will automatically update at Avera pharmacies. You will need to show your prescription ID with non-Avera pharmacies.

Avera Health Plans Rx in MyChart

Avera Health Plans members will continue to manage pharmacy benefits through Avera Health Plans Rx. MyChart offers a single sign-on within the portal for easy, secure access. Go to the Insurance section in the main menu and choose Avera Health Plans Rx. This feature allows you to:

  • Search the pharmacy network.
  • See preferred prescriptions.
  • Find ways to save on prescriptions.
  • See pharmacy claims.

If You Are Also an Avera Patient

In MyChart, you’ll have comprehensive, real-time access to your prescription information, enabling you to view current medications, dosages and instructions. You can request refills, check for pending renewals and view prescribing doctors in MyChart. You can also select a preferred pharmacy in your area.
