Provider Portal Transition

Our transition to Epic’s electronic health record system will include changing the provider portal you use to interact with Avera Health Plans. We’ll provide information and instructions as they become available.

We encourage you to sign up for our ProviderView digital newsletter. It will be a major source of information for the Epic and System Link transition, including updates on claims processing, government relations, portal enhancements and more.

Important Dates for Implementation

• March 31: You can now begin registering for System Link.
• April 15: Registration for Epic training will open.
• Early May: Epic training sessions will take place.
• May 30: System Link and Epic will go live.

Register for Avera System Link by April 24

Each organization (or site) that has employees who need access to Avera System Link must register for an account and submit a site agreement. This replaces prior processes in place with Avera. Each organization must have a site administrator, and ideally also a backup contact.

1. Review the Avera System Link site agreement. Determine the proper person in your organization to complete and sign the site agreement, and decide who your site administrator(s) will be.
2. By April 24, complete the online form to register your organization and at least one site administrator (Two administrators are recommended.) You can add other users later.
