Avera Health Plans Virtual Visits offer convenient, 24/7 access to care from the comfort of your home. You can connect with providers for urgent care for common illnesses like the flu or sinus infections, behavioral health support, dermatology consultations and lactation guidance.
These virtual video visits are available to all members over the age of 2 and can be used anywhere in the United States. Use this members-only benefit and speak with a provider when you need it most, such as if:
- You need counseling or medication management for a behavioral health condition such as anxiety, grief or depression.
- You want to connect with a provider for lactation guidance.
- You are experiencing a skin condition such as eczema, psoriasis, acne, sun damage or a rash.
- It’s the middle of the night and you want fast relief, but your need isn’t urgent enough to require an emergency room visit.
- You don’t have time to make or wait for a clinic appointment.
- You’re unsure whether or not your illness or injury can be treated via video visit or if you need to go to an urgent care or emergency room.
Urgent care and behavioral health visits are covered benefits for most members.1 Dermatology and lactation consultations are available but may not be covered. Standard visit fees may apply.
