Who is eligible?

Anyone age 18 and older who is not covered by employer-sponsored vision insurance is eligible to apply for and purchase a vision plan. All Affordable Care Act-compliant plans provide pediatric vision coverage up to the age of 19 (plans sold through the Marketplace on healthcare.gov.

Can I keep my current eye doctor?

Yes. Most care providers accept VSP. Please call your local provider to verify before scheduling your appointment. To find an in-network doctor based on your plan type, visit vsp.com.

Are there waiting periods?

No. Enrollment for individual vision plans can happen at any time, and there are no waiting periods, so you can start saving on vision care right away.
